I haven’t seen any mention that SpaceX considered 3D-printing zirconia using sputtering, lasers and carbon nanotubes… which article did you read?

I am happy to direct you to the publications which have been made available, by the likes of the US Navy, Toyota, Mitsubishi… as well as to the fact that, until a couple years ago, there was a mandate that all cold fusion patents be summarily rejected, along the lines of perpetual motion machines. (US Navy, Toyota & Mitsubishi) Does the Japanese Journal of Applied Physics count as a peer-review? Wikipedia says so…

Just because someone hoaxes something, that doesn’t make the entire field irrelevant… not sure if you read Karl Popper, but you’d be hard pressed to prove that LENR is impossible; everyone who loads Pd above 85% with Deuterium sees excess heat, and bets their long-standing reputation by making their results public, standing by their experiments even after they lose their jobs… which doesn’t seem like a profitable way to hoax people. Give it a few years, and revisit this topic — you may be pleasantly surprised. :)
